Ever feel like you need to post an update even though you can't think of much to talk about? I do. Especially since I really am trying to get into the habit of updating more often than semi-annually.

It was cold this morning. For the first time this summer/fallish time I felt like I needed to wear a snow cap or something of the like on my paper route. Unfortunately, by the time I discovered this feeling I was already standing at my car door, thirty or so feet from my front door. So I sat down into my car and drove off to deliver papers. On the upside, and much to Shalee's satisfaction, I only hit the snooze on my new phone once this morning, not the seven or eight times that I usually average. Have I mentioned that I really dislike getting up to do papers? I haven't? Well, I do. Anyway, the alarm on my new phone is much more effective than my last, probably because I am not used to it yet. I do not like the alarm tone, a small ensemble of overly cheerful sounding people for four in the AM singing, "Ding, ding, ding.......Good Morning". Maybe it was their cheerfulness that roused me from my sleep.Even if it was, I have decided not to like the "Ding, ding, ding" Chorus. No one should be that happy, even if they are a pre-recorded digital file. Makes me even more grumpy.
