Something fun

I have a sickness. It's called newblogitis. In my dashboard on blogger, there are 18 blogs listed. Most with no posts, just started with the intention of doing something cool, and then talking myself out of it. This blog has been the most consistent in way of posting, believe it or not.

My newest blog is fictionaryonline.com. It is one that I am actually quite excited about. I've started it as a place for people to publish short stories, book reviews and anything else that pertains to the world of fiction. I hope to be able to run this one successfully. I've already contacted some authors whose book info is on the site. In doing this with a focus for others, I hope that I can keep it up and running constantly. The hardest part is building an audience. It is discouraging to look at the sitemeter and see that I am the only person to access the site that day, but thems the brakes.
I guess the best part is the fact that the idea still excites me, while many of my blog ideas fizzle and die. I think the excitement will keep me going.

Feel free to have a look, and to give honest critiques. I know that I am not the world's most amazing writer, so anything you can point out would be helpful.

Don't worry kids, my sporadic and infrequent updates will continue here as well.
