I'm an addict

I love to read, but there are few things that catch my interest like a Dan Brown book. Yesterday, Shalee suprised me by coming to my office with lunch, and at the end handed me a brand-spankin new hot-off-the-press copy of The Lost Symbol. I have been waiting for this book ever since I read The Da Vinci code and Angels and Demons. I realize that the prose of Dan Brown is far from poetic, but he keeps his readers engaged. I have already downed over 200 pages of the new book and it is awesome so far. It's weird, but when I'm done in the next couple days, I feel like I will almost be sad. The realization that perhaps it will be several more years if ever that I'll get my next fix is bothersome, but I'll live. Now I know how the Harry Potter and Twilight fans feel or felt. Anyways, if you are looking for a good read and don't mind lots of conspiracy and symbols, pick up any of the three in the Robert Langdon saga. Peace!

You're back! Yay! I didn't like DaVinci Code. All the sacred feminine stuff made me a little uncomfortable. Too much weird. Glad you're enjoying a good read. I think it will be a while before I have time to do that again! I spent 3 hours memorizing skull bones this afternoon, and I only made it through half. Ugh!

Sounds like fun, but when you're done, you'll have a marketable skill. Now that I'm done with my book, I have read a book.
