I always think it's funny to see the end of a french movie. Fin, it just sits there. I realize that we too are guilty of this in america. Many films have "The end" to finish the film. For some reason, Fin just makes me smile.
Anyway, I finished reading The Lost Symbol on the 16th. Yes, I'm that pathetic, I read 500 pages in two days and yet can not manage to read my scriptures daily. The book was pretty good. It had some strong resemblences to the plot outline of Da Vinci code or Angels and demons, but all in all it was good. I won't spoil anything for the one person who might see my blog and coincedentally also read the book. I will admit the last 40 pages or so were a bit odd. They felt almost like they had been tacked on just to wrap up the storyline. The good news is that Robert Langdon did not die, so there might be another story in the future. The bad news is, Dan Brown had started this book while the Da Vinci code was getting huge, in 2003. If he goes by the same schedule for his next book, I'll be waiting until 2015. Patience.... By the way, this book set the new record for the most sales of adult fiction in a single day. Yay for Dan Brown, another few million to line his pockets.
