Today is the day

What you see my friends is a track-hoe digging the hole for the foundation for our new house. It was freezing cold this morning, thankfully digging does not require balmy weather. On a rather pleasant side note, we apparently have all the top soil in Jefferson county. When I left, the hole was three feet deep and not a single big rock had been pulled out of it, which is unheard of in these parts.
