The experiment you didn't know you were a part of....

On February 8th I posted about a goal to post once a day for 30 days. 31 days later and I did, minus three days. Yes, some posts were not much of any thing, at least one was nothing more than a link, but they were posts nonetheless. So here I sit, feeling rather triumphant about doing pretty dang good on my goal. Your part in my little experiment? Well, you were the reader. I wondered on February 8th, what kind of traffic difference I would see through these 30 days. You want to know don't you?

Sure you do, you were just informed that you took part in an experiment without your knowledge or consent, you surely at least want to know the outcome.

Even if you don't want to know, I'm going to say it. So if you don't want to know, click away now.

This Year's Visits by Month
The 31 days preceding February 8, there were a total of 296 visits to my blog. The 31 Days after February 8? 573! Yeah, it's weird to post about something like this, but I wanted you to know that I appreciate your reading my blog. Posting frequency definitely makes a difference. What does this mean for the future of Rantings of the man Dan? Not a whole heck of a lot. This past month has taught me that I really like blogging. I get some kind of weird satisfaction knowing that people are reading my blog. I'm not sure why, I guess I kind of get the feeling that you might like what I have to say, or are interested in reading about our kids or progress on our house. Whatever your reason for coming. thanks, I really mean that. I'm glad you came, I hope you didn't feel like it was a complete waste of time. So I will continue posting on a regular basis, I would say that it is mostly a habit now. Something happens during the day and, as sad as it may seem, I start thinking, would people enjoy reading about this or not? Well, either you like it, or you are really bored. Whatever the case may be, feel free to visit often.
