I was looking at my blog and realized that I have posted a grand total of seven times in the past two months. That's a little sad. Typically I leave the blogging to Shalee. She has a way of saying things that is much fuller than the way I say things.
That being said, even a sucktastic blogger posts more than I do, so I better get to steppin.
December has been really good. We have been able to spend time with family, get put in a new stake, have pneumonia come and go, and most of all, relax. The 3.5 day Christmas weekend and the upcoming 3 day New Year weekend excite me. I am always happy to spend more time at home with Shalee and the boys.
December 23rd marked ten years since Shalee and I first met each other. That's right folks, ten years ago, a strange boy named Dan introduced another strange boy named Dan to the most amazing woman in existence. Crazy how fast time flies!
This next year looks promising. January 9th will be Blake's One year anniversary with our family. Shalee will be back in school. By the way, she has done amazing. Imagine going to school, being a stay at home mom and serving in the young women's presidency. Busy. I am proud of her. I will be doing more of the same, only trying to push a little harder. I am looking to show State Farm what I can do this next year in hopes of getting my own office sooner than later. Hopefully I'll also be able to at least finish a draft or two of a couple of books I am working on. Who knows?
I hope this special season has found you all well and happy. My best wishes to each of you for 2010 and always.
